Spomenik
At the end of my street... this guy is still watching for a Turk invasion...
Ana goes back to the old country. (Cue plaintive violin music). The land of riotous brass bands, breathtaking scenery and lots and lots of really good food.

This is extraordinary. It should be book-length. Every journal entry leaves the reader craving more. You have an amazing writing style for a scientist -- witty, charming, accessible. There should be an introductory bio, and mission statement. What were you doing there? What did you learn? And more photos! Your description of the tree-line at the Macedonia-Albania border screams for a photograph. So do you (it doesn't hurt that you are beautiful).
Suggest you contact Harper-Collins in San Francisco. They published Julia Butterfly Hill's books. Good luck!
